The Drama club hosted and sponsored the 2010 Ice Castles Dance on Saturday, January 16th, at 8:00 pm in the grade school gymnasium. Several students attended with their dates and rocked out all night long.
Pop and cookies were provided for the attendees. Decorations included two large moons and fancy display lighting to give the affect of a snow-filled winter wonderland.

Pleasanton High School will be celebrating football homecoming this week. Each day students can celebrate homecoming by dressing up in various themes. Spirit Week is Sept. 28-Oct. 2, 2009.

The annual Homecoming Parade will be this Friday, Oct. 2, beginning at 2:30. We should be downtown by 2:45.
Friday evening, the Blu-Jay football team will be facing West Elk. Be sure to come and support the local team! In addition, the Blu Jay Booster Club is sponsoring a dance in the south gym immediately after the game until midnight for PHS high school students and their guests. The cost is $3.00 per person or $5.00 a couple. There will be food, dancing, and fun.
The junior/senior prom of 2009 was a resounding success. Faculty, students, and many members of the community attended the walkthrough, and the students thoroughly enjoyed themselves at the dance.
The main theme this year was under the moon and stars, with the theme song, "Angels on the Moon" by the band Thriving Ivory.
