• Kansas Correctional Association- The purpose of the Kansas Correctional Association Scholarship is to provide financial assistance to students pursuing academic goals which will prepare them for a career in the corrections/criminal justice field, or a related social/behavioral sciences field.

  Scholarship applications are open to one (1) full-time college student ($1,000 scholarship) and four (4) full-time high school students or college applicants ($500 scholarships).

  Applications must be postmarked or sent via email by May 1, 2013.

• Kansas Farm Bureau- Four Scholarships at KSU and two at Fort Hays.  $1000 each. In addition, 22 $500 scholarships available to all schools. March 1st Deadline.  For the local Farm Bureau scholarship, see your counselor. 
• Kansas Golf Association - Kansas Junior Golf Scholarship- $5000 Due April 2, 2012
• Kansas Retired School Personnel Scholarship Award- Return application to Mr. Nolan before April 1st.  $500

• Thirty health care scholarships are being offered for the 2013-2014 academic year in the following categories:

• Kohl's Cares Scholarship- Deadline is March 15 for nominations and over 2,200 students will be selected. National winners receive a total of $10,000 scholarships.
• Kansas Motor Carrier Association Foundation Scholarship-Deadline April 1- Preference giving to those dealing in transportation (such as drivers, mechanics, accounting, communications, business, office personnel, etc.) but awards have been given to those not in the transportation field.
