There's been a late change to the HS basketball games vs Yates Center tonight. The JV boy's game will still start at 5:00 PM. However, due to some unforeseen circumstances, there will only be two quarters played (not a full JV boys game).
The links below will take you to the Pleasanton Midseason Basketball Tournament boy's and girl's schedules. The Midseason Tournament will take place during the week of Jan. 17-Jan. 21. There will be games on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. The cost to attend will be $4 for adults and $2 for students. 65 and older citizens will be free admission. An adult week pass can be bought for $10, and a child week pass can be bought for $5. The first games each night will start at 5:00 PM. We will play the later games ahead of schedule, if possible. All games will be streamed via Pleasanton High School's Facebook page.

Your varsity Blu-Jays took on Jayhawk tonight in Pleasanton. The boys played hard throughout but couldn't come away with the win. They will play host to Yates Center on Friday.
Your varsity Lady Blu-Jays hosted the Jayhawks from Mound City tonight. The Blu-Jays took an early lead and kept it the entire game. Final score: Blu-Jays 40 Jayhawks 26. Congrats on another win!
The JV boys defeat Jayhawk-Linn tonight by the score of 39-22. Good play by the boys for all four quarters. Congrats!
JV boys game vs Jayhawk tonight starts at 5:00 PM in the HS gym. Varsity girls and boys to follow. Tonight is Business Appreciation Night, too. With the continual risk of Covid infection, we still recommend fans to wear masks.
HS Basketball in Pleasanton vs Jayhawk-Linn (Mound City) on Tuesday, Jan. 11. There will be no JV girls game. The JV boys will begin at 5:00 PM in the high school gym. That game will be followed by the varsity girls, then the varsity boys. Come out and support your Blu-Jays!
Your Blu-Jays HS boys basketball team travelled to St. Paul tonight. The JV played hard but fell by the score of 12-16 in two quarters. The varsity Blu-Jays came away with a 47-45 victory over the Indians.
In HS basketball action tonight, your Lady Jays took on the Indians from St. Paul. The game was close most of the way, but the Indians pulled away late and took the victory by the score of 29-42.
HS basketball at St. Paul on Friday, Jan. 14. They JV boys and JV girls will each play two quarters. The JV boys start at 6:00 PM with the girls to follow. The HS girls start at 6:00 PM with the boys to follow. Make the drive and show your support!
Your Lady Jays hosted NE in basketball action tonight. On the JV side, the Lady Jays cruised to a 17-11 victory. In varsity play, it was a hotly contested match for all four quarters. However, your Lady Jays fell short by the score of 31-35.
In HS boys basketball action tonight, your Blu-Jays hosted the NE Vikings. In the JV game, the Vikings outlasted the Blu-Jays 34-24. The varsity game proved much different. Your Blu-Jays took and early 11-0 lead and never looked back. The final score was 57-28 in favor of the Blue-Jays. Congrats!
There will be JV/Varsity basketball games on Tuesday, Jan. 4 in Pleasanton. JV girls will start at 5:00 PM in the elem. gym with the JV boys to follow. Both should be full games. Varsity girls will start at 6:00 PM in the HS gym with the varsity boys to follow. We will be playing NE Arma, and admission will be $4 adults/$2 students. Come out and support your Blu-Jays!

Update on Bus Routes on Thursday, December 16th-- Buses will run at regular time: 3:30 to accomodate families that do not have home coverage . You are still welcome to pick up your student at 1 pm. Sorry about any confusion caused by earlier post.
