In JH A team basketball tonight, the Blu-Jays took on Yates Center. The boys played well throughout and took the victory. Most of the girls game was close until your Blu-Jays took the lead late in the game and won. Congrats to both teams.
The JH B teams hosted Yates Center tonight. The girls put forth a good effort and won 17-0. The boys also played hard but fell by the score of 13-23. Both are in action tomorrow evening vs Crest. The games will be played in Pleasanton.
Pleasanton HS scholar bowl will not be participating in the scholar bowl competition at Moran on Thursday, Dec. 1. However, they will be attending the on at Northeast on Tuesday, Nov. 30.

The Blu-Jay HS scholar bowl team hosted a multitude of schools tonight in a virtual scholar bowl. Through nine rounds of questions your Blu-Jays accumulated 560 points and finished in 11th place. They will next see action on Tuesday, Nov. 30, at Northeast.
The JH Boys A basketball team was back in action tonight hosting the SE Lancers. The boys played very well tonight with a lot of teamwork and hustle. Great effort offensively and defensively put the game out of reach for the Lancers. Final score: Pleasanton - 37 and SE - 12.
The Blu-Jays JH girls A basketball team played host to Southeast tonight. The girls hustled throughout and never gave up. The girls gave a good effort tonight but eventually were outscored 23-33.
The JH Blu-Jays played a thriller this evening. In a close fought contest, the boys were up 10-5 at half, but the second half wasn't as kind. Tied at 14 with a minute left, Southeast made a bucket to take the lead. Pleasanton played hard but lost 14-17.
The JH girls B team played Southeast tonight. They battled throughout the whole contest, but eventually fell by the score of 8-20.
As Southeast does not have enough girls to have a C team, there will be no C games in JH basketball vs Southeast tonight in Pleasanton.
In JH girls A basketball team action tonight, your Blu-Jays faced the Wildcats of Marmaton Valley. The girls played hard and with a lot of grit but eventually were outscored by the Wildcats 24 - 15. Keep working hard, girls.
The boys JH A basketball team took on the Wildcats of Marmaton Valley tonight. The boys scored early and often. With tremendous teamwork and speed, your Blu-Jays came out the victor by the score of 37 - 17. Super job, boys!
In JH B team basketball action, your Blu-Jays took on Marmaton Valley. The boys played hard but fell to the Wildcats. The girls game proved to be eventful. After regulation, the game was knotted at 9. The Blu-Jays scored with one minute left in OT to take the victory. Great job!
The JH boys basketball A team took on the Eagles of Uniontown tonight. The game was tight throughout the contest. Your Blu-Jays played with a lot of fire and held on to win 26-20. Great effort tonight.
The JH girls basketball team travelled to Uniontown tonight to take on the Eagles. The first half was a battle has Uniontown lead 5-3 at the half. The second half was not as good to the our Blu-Jays as Uniontown went on to defeat our Blu-Jays 17-5.
HS scholars bowl was in action tonight at Fort Scott. They went 3-4 on the night beating Iola, Northeast, and Jayhawk. The team finished fourth in their pool of eight teams. Good job!
Good effort and hustle, but JH girls and boys B basketball teams both fall to Uniontown tonight.
There has been some changes in tonight's JH basketball games at Uniontown. There will only be 2 qtrs. of B games for girls and boys. There will be full A games. All games will be played in the WBE gym. They will not use the HS gym. This is due to lack of officials for the game.
Just got the news that there will be no JH C girls game at Uniontown tomorrow. There will be full A and B games for girls and boys, though. The games will start at 5:30. The boys will play in the UHS gym, and the girls will play in the WBE gym (south side of road).
