PSA: If you plan to play basketball this year, information says that basketball shoes will really go up in price as the season gets closer due to shoe manufacturing companies being behind overseas. You may want to buy them early this year.
The varsity Lady Blu-Jays fall to Humboldt in two sets in the first match of the Humboldt Volleyball Tournament.
Varsity football visited Uniontown tonight. The boys fought hard throughout the game but came up on the short end of a 30-6 score.
'Pink Out' to support cancer awareness will be on Tuesday, Sept. 21 when Pleasanton hosts Uniontown and St. Paul in Varsity/JV volleyball. All fans are encouraged to wear pink at the game.

Due to illness and injuries, the JV home football game on Monday, Sept. 20 vs Uniontown has been cancelled.
Just a heads-up, but HS volleyball Senior Night will be on Tuesday, Sept. 21.
Varsity volleyball was in action at Arma tonight. They played inspired ball at times but lost all three matches by scores of:
19-25,25-22,13-25 vs Jayhawk
23-25,22-25 vs Crest
8-25, 24-26 vs Northeast
They will be in action again at home on Tuesday, Sept. 21.
In volleyball tonight, the JV Lady Blu-Jays lost in straight sets to Jayhawk-Linn.
There's been a slight change in what court Pleasanton JH will play volleyball on Saturday at the tournament at Southeast Cherokee. All games will be played in the new gym. Pleasanton's 10:00 and 11:00 games will be played on Court 1.
The HS Lady Blu-Jays took to the volleyball court tonight to take on Rich Hill at home. The JV girls were defeated 14-25, 14-25, while the varsity Blu-Jays wound up on the losing end of 7-25, 9-25, 16-25 scores. The ladies are in action again tomorrow at Arma starting at 4:00 PM.
In JH volleyball action at home tonight, the JH 'A' team claimed a 3 set victory against Jayhawk (whom they lost to last week) by scores of: 25-23, 18-25, 15-12. The 'B' team girls had 2 losses on the night. Their scores were: 9-25, 5-25 vs Uniontown and 19-25, 12-25 to Jayhawk.

Some tough losses for the girls, but a lot of experience gained today.
The Blu-Jays varsity football team saw action tonight at home against Lyndon. They boys fought through a lot of adversity throughout the game. There were a lot of positives to take away even though the Blu-Jays came up on the short end of a 27-0 score.

The JH volleyball girls A and B teams took to the road tonight to visit Jayhawk-Linn. The A team came out on the short end of 25-18 and 25-17 scores. The Blu-Jays B team didn’t fare any better losing in straight sets 25-4 and 25-8. They will be in action again at home on Monday.
